Caring for the Hens – and the Environment

Waste
Like any animal, hens create waste. Fortunately, it’s a great source of nutrients, so we sell it to farmers as fertilizer.
Wash Water
We reclaim and reuse water several times in our processing plant. When water has become waste, we use it to water crops.
Egg Shells
Shells are a great source of calcium. We spread them on fields or dry them and add them to our hens’ feed.
